Good points. I started with a Facebook page before I had a strategy. So now I have business contacts, former associates, family, friends all on the same page. I think I need to start over and have a business page separate to avoid any mix ups in content.

Thanks for the blog and video on that. It's helpful I need to borrow someone's wit when posting some of my facebook status. :)

I am eventually going to need to create a business page later this year !!! I do some "Fill in the blanks" type of stuff on FB to get participation. All of my blogs get exported to FB, so i must write them in such a way to engage those readers also .

This video has some great tips.  I especially agree about asking questions because some of my most engaging posts have been when I have asked a question.

I know a good way to get people to read your blog is to title it something negative. The blog itself should always be positive but people are attracted to bad news.

Kathy, It looks like you're having fun creating these videos, so thanks for showing me that side of it ... as it's about time for me to do the same.

I like making my updates like jokes.  If you make someone laugh, they will remember it, and you, more.

Kathy, I go to Facebook once a day as well, sometimes twice.  I like the idea of asking questions, I'll have to do that.  Short and sweet is good.  Now I just tell people when I am doing something interesting, or taking a listing.  I also use Twitter a lot and when I retweet, I do so to Facebook as well.  What do you think?
