Happy Birthday Frank Sinatra!

Happy Birthday Frank Sinatra!Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra

Frank Sinatra spent many days and long nights in the Palm Springs area.  It was a place to retreat from the spotlight and spend time with friends and family.  His compound at Tamarisk CC is rumored to have been the hideaway for many celebrities like Marilyn Monroe... and of course all of his Rat Pack pals.

Lord Fletcher's was a favorite dinner spot for Frank.  Years ago the bartender told my friend Donna and I stories of bar tending at the Sinatra's parties.  He had all kinds anecdotes, but I'm sure there were some juicy stories he didn't share!

Even now Frank is a part of the desert landscape... Frank Sinatra Drive is a main thoroughfare and his spirit is alive here!

"I would like to be remembered as a man who had a wonderful time living life, a man who had good friends, fine family - and I don't think I could ask for anything more than that, actually. " ~ Frank Sinatra
